Yesterday here in Wisconsin I drove past a driving range and there were a couple guys hitting balls. The thermometer in my car said 8 degrees. I think this driving range has some kind of heaters in the roof of the little shelter over the tees but still.

It boggles the mind. I grew up in Maine, but Jesus, I’ve seen some shit in Virginia.

Couple years ago, we got a good 2' of snow. I was living at the top of a hill with a curve mid-hill at the time. Two days after the snow quit falling, they finally decided to plow the hill. From the bottom. Plow driver made it about 1/3 the way up, lost traction, said fuck it, and bailed, leaving an enormous snow bank in the middle of the road. Two days later, they finally came in and plowed it from the top.
